To celebrate three years of marriage with Lindsay Usich Warner — Marilyn Manson teases new music more than 2 and a half years since his We Are Chaos album dropped in September 2020. The 976 days of no new music was prompted by the chaos within his personal life as actress Evan Rachel Wood led a smear campaign to miscast him as a serial abuser – while offering no evidence amongst her words.
The months and years that followed the allegations lodged against Manson in February 2021 have been spent with multiple criminal investigations that have led to no charges and multiple allegations thrown out of court. And through it all, loyal followers have continued to listen to Manson catalogue of music with regularity unphased by the attack on his character.
Why?
Because there’s no expiration date on art and the themes of Manson’s music and thought behind each song continues to speak to those around the globe.
Long-time supporters of Manson will also catch that one of the photos in his announcement pays homage to the Holy Wood era that came after Manson’s last departure from the public eye. Following the Columbine High School tragedy in April 1999, the media raged against Manson and improperly labeled him a culprit for the brutal violence despite not being anywhere near the school.
You’ll spot in his 2023 preview for new music photo a corpse-like Manson over his shoulder — tying back to back to the Disposable Teens music video.

At Last, Marilyn Manson Teases New Music
Many have been anticipating new music from Manson as reliable sources previewed he was back at work in the studio.
And to officially tease the upcoming release — Manson rebranded his social media with a new photo (taken by wife Lindsay Usich) and first posts since he announced the lawsuit against Wood and her ex-girlfriend Ashley Illma Gore in March 2022.
As a ‘canceled’ artist who continues to steadily maintain more than 6.5 million listeners on Spotify, it’s safe to say there are a lot of ears out there eager to hear what he has to share with the world and with good reason.
Manson has not publicly uttered a single note or spoken a single word since a number of found-to-be false allegations were lodged against him in February 2021. His powerful silence has continued with no interviews, no touring and no new music as the criminal investigations into the allegations took place. (With no charges filed to date, of course.)
The tease of new music coinciding with the third anniversary of his marriage to Lindsay Usich was a heart-warming way to usher in a new era. Lindsay’s an extremely talented photographer who has steadily stood by his side as the cancel culture lynch mobs outcast him from society and the likes of HBO and Rolling Stone boldly labeled him an ‘abuser’ — without care or attention to due process.
Lindsay and Manson also presented a united front in a new photo of the two with the caption reading: there is light in the darkness.
And it’s true. There is light in darkness and it’s time that light make itself known to the world once again.
Much love and support to Manson and Lindsay as they celebrate their anniversary and all those connected to Manson’s upcoming new music.
