Marilyn Manson Valentine’s Day Message:
First Flower After the Flood
The last time we heard from Mr. Manson online, he penned “I’ve got something for you to hear” and it appears we’re inching closer and closer to that moment.
A Marilyn Manson Valentine’s Day post was published to all his social accounts — including two new portraits taken by his photographer wife Lindsay Usich. The two dated for many years before getting married in a backyard ceremony in May 2020.
In private, Manson has been known to be working on new music for some time with producer Tyler Bates. Bates and Manson previously worked together on his The Pale Emperor and Heaven Upside Down albums. Sirius XM radio host Eddie Trunk shared news last December that the forthcoming album is complete and industry guests were being invited to private listening parties to hear the new work.
Marilyn Manson is also confirmed to make an appearance on Kat Von D’s next album. No release date has officially been announced but the lead single Vampire Love is available for purchase and streaming on all platforms.

MAKING POSITIVE CHANGES
Kat Von D shared in a Fall 2023 Relatable podcast interview that she met Marilyn Manson through sobriety — that he’s currently well more than two-years sober and the two have become good friends. When asked about the rockstar’s darker image on the Christian talk show, Kat responded by saying:
“I love Marilyn Manson. I think he’s a good guy and I think he’s actually making a lot of deep meaningful changes… that is not my place to talk about for him but if you knew – you’d feel bad about criticizing.”
Host Allie Beth Stuckey responded by saying, “I think a lot of people are just very unfamiliar. It’s so obvious to me that the Lord is going to use you and your testimony for these friends that you have. Maybe the outside world does look at someone like Marilyn Manson or other people in your circle and think, ‘Wow, like they’re my enemy. Or they hate me and what I stand for or they can’t be redeemed.’ But you know, personally – that we’re all just people. All looking for the same things.
“I just think you’re in such a unique position that a lot of people are not,” Stuckey added. “To help show those people where the love is that actually lasts and satisfies.”
COMMUNITY SERVICE WRAPPED
News also came recently that Manson completed 20 hours of community service – which he was sentenced to last year when pleading no contest to a minor misdemeanor charge in New Hampshire.
When leaving the courthouse after entering his plea, Manson was asked by a local reporter where he intended to dedicate those hours and he answered that he hoped to do so by helping those in recovery.
Manson made good on that statement and served at The Glendale Windsor Club — an organization in Greater Los Angeles that provides space for Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon meetings. .
A lawsuit filed in connection with the misdemeanor was dismissed by LA County Superior Court, twice.
ANTI-SLAPP APPEAL UPDATE
A Marilyn Manson Valentine’s Day message isn’t the only piece of news from him this week.
He also met a Feb. 13 deadline in California’s 2nd Appellate District on his intention to appeal an anti-slapp ruling in his case against actress Evan Rachel Wood and her employee Ashley Illma Gore.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Theresa Beaudet ruled that despite no contention that it was a forgery, a letter impersonating a real Florida-based FBI agent Evan Rachel Wood filed in court is protected constitutional “free speech.”
Beaudet’s written ruling oddly also added there’s no definitive conclusion on if it is illegal to do such a thing – when it is.
A certificate by Marilyn Manson’s legal team was filed and accepted by the appellate court and the opening brief of his appeal is due in the near future. The Manson v Gore and Wood trial that was scheduled for May 2024 has been postponed indefinitely till the outcome of an appeal is decided.
